NCDMB E.S, Engr. Simbi Wabote receives ALM Local Content Icon Award.
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, Engr. Simbi Wabote, has received the African Leadership magazine (ALM) African Local Content Icon Award in recognition of his dedication and commitment to improving local content in sub-Saharan Africa.
The Award was virtually bestowed on Him at ALM Summit on Friday, September 17.
In his remarks; Engr.Wabote expressed appreciation to the platform, the African Local Content Icon Award which he affirmed, reveals the importance of local content across the entire value chain of the Petroleum and Energy sectors in Africa.
He added that the number of African countries producing oil, has increased rapidly over the last four decades, and as a result, it is important to examine what can be done in-country to utilize capacity.
